Bronto Named a Fast 5000 Business

by Caroline Riddle on August 14, 2009

bronto_logoWe’re happy to announce some great news!  Bronto has made the 2009 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Inc. magazine published its third annual Top 500 |5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Bronto ranks number 1096 on the list, and number 68 in software, with three-year growth of 284.7% percent.  We’re honored to make this prestigious list and to add it to our list of accolades including;

  • Stevies Award winner for Best Customer Service Department for IT/Telecom
  • Honoree for Healthiest Company in the Triangle by Business Leader Magazine

From the days of working out of Bronto CEO, Joe Colopy’s house, Bronto has maintained fast and steady growth.  With over 50 employees and 13,000 sq. ft. of office space Bronto shows no sign of slowing down.  With a growing customer base of online retailers, publishers, universities, non-profit organizations and sports teams, Bronto serves nearly every industry.

“Being included in the Inc. Top 5000 list is a great honor.  Bronto is an organically funded company, which makes this accolade even more substantial, as we can maintain aggressive growth at a responsible yet fast pace.  As the 68th fastest growing software company in a year when the economy is down, it further showcases Bronto as a great company to do business with and great place to work,” said Joe Colopy, Bronto CEO.

Chaz Felix, Co-Founder and COO, commented that remaining profitable in a recession has its challenges. “We’ve tried to be very realistic about managing growth in the current business climate. Balancing success while maintaining a positive culture and work environment is critical to how we function as a business. One of our guiding principles is hits – not home runs –and the Inc 5000 recognition validates our model and motivates us even more to stay focused and on plan.”

Thank you to all our clients, employees and partners who help us grow to be a better, stronger Bronto.
