Knowing Bronto’s Director of Best Practices & Deliverability, DJ Waldow would appreciate the reference to the classic Boyz II Men ballad from the 90s. As many of you know, DJ will be leaving Bronto on Friday, June 19th, but his legacy lives on. Over the past 4 years at Bronto DJ has worked with Sales, Client Services, and Marketing. His work for Bronto is a legacy in it’s own right, but what about DJ, the man, the character, the legend?
DJ brought a tremendous amount of energy and enthusiasm to the office. Starting every day *early* with multiple cups of coffee (complete with specially flavored creamer such as Creme Brulee, and English Toffee), DJ wrote blog posts before many people turned off their morning alarms. He spread his boundless energy by jamming classic hits from the 80s and 90s to current pop music through the Bronto shared speakers. It wasn’t uncommon to hear him singing along to “What a Girl Wants,” by Christina Aguilera or “Bringing Sexy Back,” by his favorite “mancrush” J.T. aka Justin Timberlake.
Most recently, DJ spent most of his time presenting on email marketing best practices and social media. He was also the driving force for our blogs, twitter, and all things social. While pursuing an MBA at Kenan-Flager Business School at UNC-CH, he also balanced producing such fun and informative videos as “Traveling Bronto: Down the River,” “Bronto: New Digs,” and “BrontoFire”
As DJ, leaves Bronto he’ll be making the cross-country trek with his wife (K-Dawg), but as a parting gift, check out this video tribute to DJ featuring some of his contributions to Bronto.

DJ – Bronto will miss you and wishes you well on all your upcoming journeys.

DJ helped was one of our first contacts Bronto when we signed up almost 2 years ago and I’ve been following him on twitter for about a year now – he’s always got fantastic tips and relevant information within the world of email marketing. His enthusiasm and quick response to any question we had definitely helped build our brand loyalty to Bronto (and everyone we’ve been in touch with since then has as well). Best wishes to DJ & K-Dawg!
Wow what a sendoff! I knew he was “special” but never knew that it went this deep.
