We are pleased to announce that Bronto has been named a “North Carolina Company to Watch” by CED.  2010 is the inaugural year of this awards program, and Bronto is honored to be part of the first class to be honored.  Out of 190 nominees, Bronto was selected as one of 25 winners in the state.  This accolade is especially notable given the large number of fast growing companies in NC and more so in the Raleigh/Durham and RTP area (where 20 of the 25 companies to watch are located).

CED partnered with the Edward Lowe Foundation to honor companies who “demonstrate high performance in the marketplace, exhibit innovative products or processes, or otherwise make those companies “worth watching.”

Why was Bronto chosen a Company To Watch?  Here’s an excerpt from our nomination…

Bronto is routinely awarded accolades from ‘Fastest Growing Company’ (Inc 5000) to Best Company to Work for (Triangle Business Journal), and boasts several 40 Under 40 Executives (Triangle Business Journal). Bronto has a unique company culture that sets it apart from other businesses. With active social and community committees, Bronto provides several fun events per month to engage employees and encourage team work. From weekly lunch and learns where anyone in the company can present a relevant topic to bocce tournaments on the lawn to paid time off to volunteer hours for the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, Brontos work and play together.

However, Bronto is most notably a company to watch given our strong and steady path to becoming one of the dominant Email Marketing Providers in the industry. In 2008, Bronto a finalist for the Stevie Award for Best Customer Service in Technology/Telecom, in 2009 Bronto brought home the Stevie award, and in 2010 Bronto is in the running again for this award. The prestigious Stevie award is an accolade that truly sets us apart from our competition. We’re also constantly innovating our email marketing platform with quarterly updates to adjust with the changing needs of our clients. Since that nomination was submitted, Bronto has gone on to win another Stevie Award in 2010, making for a Stevie “two-peat”!  Bronto is know for our innovative products, a great team, and a unique company culture.  This award honor recognizes all of which that helps Bronto stand out among the crowd.

On Thursday, Sept. 23rd, our fearless leaders Joe Colopy (CEO) and Chaz Felix (COO) will accept the award along with the 24 other growing companies in NC.  Go Bronto Go!
